What's a ‘Stem?’Protip: They're used for making remixes.

Stems are collections of audio files with separated instruments - all the synths in one stereo track, all the drums in another, vocals in another, etc. They're used for remixes, playing live and mastering.

I provide all stems for all my tracks for free. They're all released under a Creative Commons BY NC license, which means you can do whatever you want with them as long as you don't try and make money from them.

About Bankaihe's got some arms and legs and teeeeeth.

“He performs like he's on broadway. He produces giant, epic dance-floor bangers. He runs his own record label. Bankai is the honey badger of the digital world.”

Life and times

Bankai became a minor cult figure soon after putting his first track on thesixtyone, his fans crowd sourcing a month long international tour across Canada. Since, Bankai has been headlining everything from huge raves to share-house parties all over the world.

He moves seamlessly from dubstep to bebop, electro to jump up dnb, wirelessly mixing from within the crowd using Wii remotes, circuit bend toys, iPhones and a hacked Nintendo Powerglove.

2012 sees Bankai heading up ALL CAPS Records, releasing local and international bass music, alongside more international touring.
